The primary purpose of a Leaf and Debris cover is to reduce the cleaning time on pools that have heavy Leaf loads. It does this by overlapping the complete circumference of the pool, whilst being pulled tought to come up off the water level and remain dry. Meaning that the leaf litter that falls on top of the cover is easily removed by wind, blower vac etc. 

The leaf and debris pool cover is made from fine mesh woven polypropylene or polyethylene fabric, allowing the rain water to pass through the cover while keeping the leaves, debris, bugs etc. on the outside. Leaf and debris pool covers are lightweight, they don’t necessarily need a roller, however, fitting a pool cover roller to a leaf and debris cover, makes the removal of the cover significantly easier. Leaf and debris pool covers are available and suitable for both in-ground pools and above ground pools.
